About a year ago a really good friend of mine passed away. And he died doing what he loved, climbing. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him. I don't think a day goes by without anyone that knows him doesn't think about him.
His name is Luke Gullberg. I met him the summer of 2007. He was one of the boys cabin leaders for TCL (Training in Christian Living) at Lakeside Bible Camp. Luke is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and his love for God was never ending. While there were serious times at camp, with Luke everyone was having fun. Hus smile would light up a whole room.
Now Luke loves climbing, and he had talked about building a rock climbing wall at LBC. We (all Luke's friends and family) are trying to raise money to build this wall. But it is pretty expensive and with the recent recession, I can see how the building isn't going as fast as planned. But we would love to see Luke's Wall built by this coming summer of 2011.
I want everyone to know about Luke and how great he was and still is because he lives on in everyone who knew him.
